Product Description

Description:
D507 is a low hydrogen sodium coated 1Cr13 surfacing welding electrode. Its metal is 1Cr13 half iron and high chromium steel. It is good at air quenching so that it need not to  be heated.  The good rigidity make it soft in 750°C -800°C. After heating to 900-1000°C , then air quenching and oil quenching, it can be hard again.  DC reverse is available.

Application:
It is general surfacing welding electrode applies to spindle and vavle of carbon steel or alloy steel below 450°C .

1.  Electrodes must be baked for 1 hour at 150°C before welding.

2.  The parts must be heated ≥300°C. Different heating can react different hardness.
